Change by Design was hired by GE Energy to develop a complex learning simulation for senior executive leadership. This sophisticated target audience had many competing priorities, and asking them to engage in six hours of pre-training would be a tough sell.

In order to be successful, the course had to increase executive understanding of the continuous improvement process and convince the leadership that the ‘CI’ process was important enough to support with resourcing decisions.

We used problem-based learning, combined with a realistic case study and embedded schematic diagrams, to engage these busy executives.

Participants raved about the course and the impact it had on them. Executives who understood the process were far more willing to invest the needed resources to engage in ALL aspects of the continuous improvement process.
